More notebooks

Here are some more notebooks to enjoy. A great way to use up supplies you have on hand and make some lovely useful gifts as well. List of supplies can be long, but think of organizing and  being ahead of yourself making gifts when needed. ....I really appreciate you looking.
I tried to  photo the inside but always came out long an not like these, but inside is a 3x5 notebook from Office Depot, and a die cut bird on top.

Elliot's 21st Birthday

My grand-son will 21 this year. A big time in a young man's age. So I thought I would make a Big 21.I used PTI card-stock, white, and enchanted evening blue. the white cs was distressed with faded jeans, spiced marmalade, and festive berries. When I distressed I wiped across the cs not worrying how or where to achieve the background. I wanted it to be bright and many colors. Then the firecrackers and 21 was cut with the Independence Day Cricut and George and Basic Shapes with my expression machine.. Haven't used these for awhile , need to remember them more often. I covered the numbers and some of fireworks with Stickles gold an let dry over night. Spellbinders Scallop Heart  is edged with gel sliver pen..Fireworks on background are a stamp I have had for years. Memento ink, Rose Bud, and Danube Blue.  Scalloped edge is an EK punch.

The inside has a firecracker on the note page. Like the way it turned out, just hope he does.......thanks for looking.

Winter Wind

I had colored this Sarah Kay, with colored pencils awhile ago, decided to use for a just because card.
I love to use Prisma colored pencils, the frame is Spellbinders classic rectangle Lrg. then I distressed the edges with Tea Dye. for that fall look. the corners are Martha Stewart snowflake. All the fall maple leaves were punched out with scraps of  leaves paper, and the punch is one I have had for yrs. It was small, and I like that touch. Base paper was Papertrey Ink, dark Coco. I like the weight of their paper.  You will notice on the right side the colored leaves. there is a strip inside the card of the fall leaves. and this card is cut not even for the leaves inside to show when closed. OH! almost forgot the Amira Flourish by Memory Box, and PTI Berry Sorbet cs is behind the image. Thought it added more color to the image .Hope you like her and........
thanks so much for looking.

Classroom &Winter Wonderland

This tag was inspired in the Classroom at Ellen Hutson by Kittie Caracciolo.  She always gives me strong inspirations everyday. I wanted to try this tag. I love her winter tags, they are terrific,  I did mine a little different. First I Vera Marked the tag on White paper, the clouds and then did distressing for the sky, making the clouds by hand.. I die cut as she did the other elements. However; My bark tree, I cut down and removed all leaves before distressing with Antique Linen and Tea Dye, it is a Memory Box Grand Oak tree, and was to big for the tag. Before adding snow, I crimped the fir tree, I used some flower soft Polar White for snow and added white gel pen as well. Large tree is PTI Winter Meadow. The deer are from Memory Box Deer Trio and distressed with same inks as the bark tree except for the dark. then I hand tore the snow lines and crimped. and cut snowflakes with Memory Box Snowflake Burst. One last thing was to die cut the Cardinals from Impression Obsession Birch Tree
and birds in red and the red ribbon from stash. I placed the snowflakes around to accent the scene. love how this turned out and hope to make more. tags are fun to make......thanks for looking and hope you enjoy too.

12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2013

My tag was inspired by Kittie Caracciolo day 4#click here Her blue and white scene inspired me to make my tag
of the Christmas Spirit. I used image and  dies I had . Memory box tree, and star at top of tree, die cut in white card stock, then Vera Marked the church and embossed with clear Ranger embossing powder. I added jellyroll pen for snow on roof etc. and dots of snow through the sky. I add a Memory box bird for the
Spirit of Christmas. Gems were to bring sparkle and blue to the feeling of a peaceful evening. I hand tore the bottom snow and the crimped with my Friskers crimper. Ribbon was from stash.  I really enjoyed making this entry, tag. Hope you enjoy too.....thanks for looking an Merry Christmas.
